The University of Toronto has recently partnered with the National Research Council to create a national innovative hub focused on microfluidics. What a great way to start the weekend!
The new hub called the Centre for Research and Applications in Fluidic Technologies (CRAFT) will enable collaboration between UofT microfluidic experts and NRC scientists in order to further expand research and create new discoveries. According to Vivek Goel, University of Toronto’s Vice-President of Research and Innovation: “This partnership between the NRC and the University of Toronto will deliver à tangible impact on the lives of Canadians by developing and commercializing biomedical technologies that improve care for patients while reducing costs for the Canadian health system.”
